What’s Love Got to Do with It?

It’s business, not life. It’s professional, not personal. It’s bosses and colleagues, not family and friends. So, what’s love got to do with it? Everything.

Activating a loving mindset is perhaps the greatest business and life hack we can use to eliminate waste and uncover value.

We’ve spent over 100 years optimizing our processes and operations – removing waste from supply chains, assembly lines and manual tasks. But we’ve largely ignored our inner working models as people. In my time at multinationals, we found there was still, on average, between 30-40% wasted capacity of human potential. That’s a huge amount of waste. Not just for the businesses we work for, but for all of us that want to get the most from life.

Before I entered the corporate world, I qualified and served as a nurse. I had the privilege to support patients at risk of losing their lives. I’ve seen old people dying with regrets and young people grace. Being a nurse taught me many lessons about not just surviving, but coming alive. And there are generally two mindsets we can operate from: one of fear, and one of love.

The one we choose, has a huge impact – not just on our personal but also our professional lives.

I’d love to tell you exactly why and the impact of these two mindsets, in this 2-minute video:

Moving from fear to love is about changing your mindset and optimizing your inner working model. It’s a shift in mindset that will enable you to expand your capacity to transform, enabling you to have a greater impact in your own life, your organization and your society. And that’s what The Heart Revolution is all about.

What are your thoughts?

Do you agree that a loving mindset can help improve our professional lives, or is it just for the personal?

I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences below in the comments.
